Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of applied AI and machine learning products.
Build and evaluate fit-for-purpose models, LLM solutions, copilots, and agents for engineering use cases.
Conduct technical research, prototyping, and experimentation and convert findings into implementation recommendations.
Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to understand workflows, set priorities, and define success measures.
Apply AI to improve the software development lifecycle through secure, scalable, and production-ready capabilities.
Provide hands-on technical leadership across design, implementation, architecture, reliability, and responsible AI adoption.
Mentor engineers and promote strong engineering practices and high-quality delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of software development experience.
Advanced applied AI/ML, model development, and software engineering experience, preferably 8 or more years.
Experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions.
Hands-on technical leadership and the ability to drive design, implementation, and delivery decisions.
Strong understanding of enterprise software practices, MLOps, LLMOps, model evaluation, and secure, scalable, sustainable AI solutions.
Effective communication across engineering, product, and business audiences.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
