Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, and operate data plane networking software on custom hardware.
- Build and improve network virtualization systems for VPC connectivity, security policy enforcement, and performance isolation.
- Investigate complex production issues across distributed embedded systems and deliver root-cause fixes.
- Collaborate with hardware, control-plane, and ML-platform partner teams on end-to-end networking solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 4+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
