Base Salary
$125k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and productionize scalable internal tools and AI workflows for autonomous vehicle systems engineering and validation.
- Integrate requirements management, modeling, and validation data to provide end-to-end traceability from requirements to test results.
- Build backend services and APIs that unify distributed engineering artifacts into a reliable platform.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs measuring requirement coverage, trace completeness, and validation progress.
- Own and evolve the traceability data model, including bidirectional traceability, versioning, baselining, and change impact analysis.
- Refactor internal prototypes into production-grade, certifiable systems with reliability, access control, and auditability.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, safety, and autonomy teams to support compliance and safety case development.
- Scale internal tooling for production programs and future regulatory needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in backend software development, internal tooling, or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or C/C++.
- Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and integrating systems through APIs.
- Experience building scalable backend services and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to work across complex, cross-functional technical domains.
- Experience with requirements management or system modeling tools is preferred.
- Experience building dashboards, metrics frameworks, or traceability platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with configuration management or compliance-driven environments is preferred.
- Exposure to safety-critical or regulated systems is preferred.
- Startup or fast-paced engineering experience is preferred.
