Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for medium- to large-scale projects, emphasizing automated execution.
- Test and automate large-scale applications, including UI and API automation.
- Use and develop AI agents within the software testing life cycle.
- Investigate issues, perform troubleshooting, and identify root causes.
- Develop or use programming in Java, Python, C#, or another modern programming language for quality engineering work.
- Use test and bug management tools such as TestRail and JIRA.
- Mentor other engineers as needed and work autonomously to resolve quality challenges.
- Own feature quality and collaborate with product, development, and other teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with manual testing and automation testing.
- Experience with UI and API automation testing using tools such as Selenium and SOAPUI.
- Experience designing test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets is preferred.
- Experience with API and mobile testing is preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl is preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting issues and performing root-cause analysis is preferred.
- Understanding of the application development life cycle, CI/CD, and testing in an agile environment.
