Responsibilities
- Drive complex, end-to-end projects across the stack (React + Python).
- Shape technical direction and architecture to improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
- Identify and address technical debt through proactive improvements.
- Design systems for performance and scale in life sciences R&D.
- Mentor and support other engineers to enhance team skills.
- Elevate code quality and engineering practices through thorough reviews.
- Embrace ambiguity and adapt to evolving scientific requirements.
- Act with ownership and accountability for code and outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building scalable, reliable systems with a focus on performance.
- Leadership in engineering practices and high standards in code quality.
- Proven ability to work across teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Strategic problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to team growth.
