- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework.
- Execute automation suites for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Translate requirements into effective test scenarios with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Identify automation opportunities, improve regression coverage, and support faster release cycles.
- Identify and communicate risks, defects, and issues, and participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
- Support continuous integration and continuous testing practices in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Maintain test artifacts, documentation, and automation coverage and defect-leakage metrics.
- Contribute to process improvements, testing accelerators, innovative testing solutions, and quality initiatives.
- Stay current with Guidewire platform updates, cloud releases, and automation best practices.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on testing processes, tools, and emerging technology trends.
- Support delivery ownership, team-building, compliance activities, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of overall IT experience, including at least 2 years of Guidewire Automation Testing using the GT Framework.
- Hands-on experience automating test cases for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire integration and configuration concepts.
- Experience with GOSU, Web Services, XML, and Guidewire data models.
- Experience with platform upgrades and validation through automated testing.
- Ability to design automation frameworks and components and enhance existing scripts.
- Experience with test estimation, planning, and execution.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to apply technical testing solutions across varied business domains.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- BE, B.Tech, M.C.A, M.Sc in Computer Science, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Guidewire Specialist, ACE, or Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Experience with CodeNarc or similar static code analysis tools is preferred.
- Exposure to current Guidewire Cloud versions and cloud-based testing strategies is preferred.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE with Guidewire experience is preferred.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or ALM is preferred.
- Performance or API testing knowledge is an advantage.
