Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, UAT, release, and post-production sanity testing.
- Validate ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and GRC implementations, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management and test management tools.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics and ensure data integrity and platform stability.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and Agile QA activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of QA/testing experience on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong understanding of ITSM modules, ITAM processes and CMDB, and GRC applications.
- Experience writing manual and automated test cases.
- Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, reports, and integrations.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Good understanding of JavaScript in a ServiceNow context.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ServiceNow CSA certification preferred; CAD or CIS certifications in ITSM, ITAM, or GRC are advantageous.
- Experience with API testing and integration validation preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices preferred.
- Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools is a plus.
- Experience in telecom, banking, healthcare, or enterprise IT environments, compliance frameworks, audit processes, ServiceNow upgrade testing, and release validation is beneficial.
