Base Salary
$155k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define legal correctness and build repeatable quality evaluations for legal AI output.
- Design and implement software tools and platforms that help product teams improve legal quality.
- Advise product managers, engineering managers, and designers on legal accuracy, specifications, prompts, taxonomies, and product copy.
- Identify, validate, and recommend improvements to prompts, agentic workflows, existing systems, and new product features.
- Partner with internal product teams rather than serving as a forward-deployed customer role.
Requirements
- JD, LLB, or equivalent legal qualification, or a bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years working directly in legal practice, legal knowledge management, or legal operations.
- Experience building executable software systems that use legal data and improve legal workflows.
- Experience with structured data formats including JSON, XML, and Markdown.
- Experience using agentic AI systems for legal and software development tasks.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, prioritization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience includes evaluating non-deterministic systems, curating and generating datasets, developing evaluation metrics, improving agentic legal workflows, computational law, harness development, AI-assisted software development practices, and full-stack software development.
