Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Horizon Agent display-driver features across the full lifecycle from design through release.
- Debug Direct3D 11/12 GPU initialization, swapchain management, display state machines, race conditions, resource leaks, and stability issues.
- Implement monitor topology, EDID handling, hot-plugging, adapter management, and complex Windows display-configuration scenarios.
- Optimize VNC server performance, rendering latency, memory usage, CPU/GPU utilization, connection lifecycles, and failure recovery.
- Work across kernel and user-space boundaries and maintain VNC protocol integration with Horizon.
- Build, sign, deploy, and test drivers across Windows versions using SCons and related tooling.
- Create test coverage for multi-monitor, GPU capability, codec-support, and hot-plug scenarios.
- Investigate customer-facing display issues, perform root-cause analysis, document architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with platform, performance, VNC, and product teams on integrated display solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Deep expertise in C++ systems programming, Windows driver development, and low-level Windows APIs.
- Proven experience designing and debugging Direct3D 11/12 applications or GPU-related systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows internals, display configuration APIs, driver architecture, and kernel/user-space interaction.
- Hands-on experience with WinDbg, Windows Performance Analyzer, GPU profilers, performance profiling, and latency analysis.
- Experience resolving concurrency issues, race conditions, resource-management problems, and graphics-system performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with VDI, remote desktop technologies, VNC, or virtualization solutions is highly desired.
- Familiarity with SCons or similar build systems, driver signing and certification, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with technical writing, architecture documentation, complex-systems presentations, mentoring, Git, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
