Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze and collaborate on technical solutions and strategies with the team.
- Own successful delivery of solutions and serve as a technical advisor or coach to junior team members.
- Perform systems analysis, design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, design reviews, and other SDLC activities.
- Explore existing application systems, identify complexity and implementation risks, and contribute to system architecture improvements.
- Communicate with clients and project teams to clarify needs, present technical ideas, and explain development progress.
- Ensure Citi engineering standards, operating procedures, and project processes are followed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software architecture, development processes, and technology choices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a technical team lead.
- Expert hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.
- Deep understanding of microservices and microservices best practices and patterns.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Git, and JIRA.
- Understanding of OpenShift and Docker, with Kafka experience highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, system analysis and design, architecture fundamentals, unit testing, and other SDLC activities.
- Ability to contribute to high- and low-level system design, including sequence and class diagrams.
- Demonstrated leadership, prioritization, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
