Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, integrate, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance complex full-stack software applications.
- Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD documentation while analyzing organizational needs and goals.
- Write efficient, testable code and develop tests, test transactions, test automation suites, verification plans, and quality assurance procedures.
- Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, change controls, and continuous-improvement activities.
- Apply security and privacy principles and resolve hardware, software, and communications malfunctions.
- Collaborate with engineers, data engineers, business users, and project managers to deliver team objectives.
- Mentor junior-level engineers and contribute to shared engineering best practices, reuse, and documentation.
- Complete required training and use learning tools such as Pluralsight for professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–6 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing both front-end and back-end software.
- Knowledge of C#, Java, HTML, Node.js, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of application frameworks, containerization, cross-platform interoperability, and major platform toolkits.
- Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle and experience resolving hardware, software, and communications issues.
- Experience in securities or financial services is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers.
