Base Salary
$81k - $136k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and modern architectural patterns.
- Build and support REST APIs and microservices with strong availability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Develop data access layers using JPA/Hibernate and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Create and enhance Angular 17+/19+ and TypeScript user interfaces and integrate them with backend services.
- Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka, MQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and support automated delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate on technical solutions, troubleshooting, architecture discussions, code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to technical decisions and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 9+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and developing microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 17+/19+, TypeScript, and front-end integration.
- Experience with Kafka, MQ, or other messaging platforms in event-driven environments.
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, testing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Camunda, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, distributed systems, cloud-native development, automated testing strategies, Agile/Scrum environments, and technical design or mentoring.
