Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based services and applications for a retail production environment.
- Build data pipelines to integrate systems, enable business intelligence, and apply business logic.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud-native services for performance and reliability.
- Provide after-hours on-call support for business-critical issues.
- Coordinate large-scale releases for critical retail systems, including deployments during peak sales and promotional periods.
- Facilitate unit, functional, end-to-end, and performance testing and address defects affecting production integrity.
- Support enterprise retail systems including Inventory & Sourcing, Order Management Systems, delivery tracking, eCommerce order flows, warehouse integrations, and payment systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related field.
- Five years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in a related position.
- Three years of experience in a consumer-facing retail environment.
- Three years of experience developing and maintaining Java-based services and applications in a retail production environment.
- Three years of experience with enterprise retail systems, large-scale releases, peak-period deployments, rollback readiness, and testing of customer-facing and operational systems.
- Experience may be concurrent.
