Base Salary

$100k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and execute automated functional and end-to-end test frameworks and suites using Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and create reusable, data-driven test scripts.
  • Perform load, performance, chaos, resilience, failover, recovery, functional, API, integration, and deployment validation testing.
  • Validate microservice contracts, APIs, integrations, containerized workloads, Kubernetes and Docker deployments, and system modernization outcomes.
  • Identify, document, and triage defects while partnering with developers on root-cause analysis and remediation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver test automation and quality artifacts on the sprint cadence.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and program stakeholders to improve testing practices, tooling, and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience, including 3 or more years of professional experience or 1 year with a related master's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, active before starting.
  • CI Polygraph completed within the last 7 years and active before starting.
  • Hands-on experience establishing and maintaining test frameworks and automated test suites.
  • Working knowledge of microservices design and architecture and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable test automation tools.
  • Experience with load, performance, chaos, functional, and end-to-end testing in an Agile software development environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with JAWS or NVDA, JMeter, Swagger or similar API tools, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
