Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product transitions from development to delivery.
- Plan and execute release schedules while managing potential bottlenecks.
- Work with infrastructure teams to deliver changes to production.
- Identify roadblocks in the release cycle and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a change audit trail with comprehensive release instructions and rollback plans.
- Design and implement automated release workflows.
- Enhance visibility and communication across teams.
- Collect feedback and drive process improvements.
- Organize the Vault Platform release engineering team around key initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to support multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional skill in translating technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and hands-on when needed.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kibana, and source control tools.
- Experience in a SaaS or product-based company.
