Responsibilities

  • Design and execute functional, integration, API, contract, automated, and end-to-end tests for membership and loyalty capabilities.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites and continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, regression efficiency, and defect detection.
  • Lead the team of quality engineers supporting loyalty and personalization capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Validate loyalty points accrual, redemption, personalized recommendations, membership integrations, and consumer experiences.
  • Create and manage test data and validation scenarios across browsers, devices, and digital consumer journeys.
  • Define testing approaches for loyalty management applications and A/B testing.
  • Use AI-assisted quality engineering tools and practices to improve software delivery and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience testing large-scale distributed backend systems on cloud-native platforms related to membership and loyalty capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent testing tools.
  • Experience defining test strategies for loyalty management applications.
  • Experience with API testing, contract testing, and test data management.
  • Experience validating membership and loyalty capabilities.
  • Ability to define an A/B testing approach.
  • Experience with cross-browser testing and tools such as BrowserStack or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience using coding agents, LLMs, or AI-assisted engineering tools is required.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer digital products is strongly preferred.
