Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ML models critical to Snowflake’s business.
- Design metrics and experiments to validate insights.
- Implement projects across the tech stack, including Java and Python services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design.
- Deliver features requiring coordination with partner teams.
- Participate in defining product vision and team planning.
- Identify problems, instrument components, and implement solutions.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- 2+ years maintaining a production system.
- 1+ years of working ML experience.
- Interest in state-of-the-art LLM-based solutions.
- Experience with modern application design architecture and API design patterns.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Python, Java.
- Experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in a cloud environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
