Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, construction, maintenance, and operational lifecycle of scalable ML systems and backend services.
- Lead the development and deployment of analytical frameworks, ML pipelines, and data science solutions for enterprise applications.
- Direct end-to-end ML initiatives from requirements gathering and project scoping through implementation, deployment, and operational support.
- Provide formal and informal technical leadership, mentor emerging talent, and promote scalable and resilient engineering practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, front-end engineers, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical and strategic objectives.
- Assess complex risks, ensure quality and data integrity, and maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience implementing data-intensive, large-scale ML solutions with technical leadership experience.
- Expert-level Python and Jupyter Notebook scripting experience.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries including Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, RAGAs, DsPy, and large language models.
- Experience with MLOps and ML lifecycle platforms including MLFlow, Dagster, and Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with infrastructure, DevOps, version control, containerization, and orchestration tools including UDeploy, Harness, Tekton, Jenkins, Maven, Git, Docker, OpenShift, and Amazon ECS.
- Experience with data engineering and processing technologies including Kafka, Sqoop, PySpark, Hive, Hadoop, HDFS, Avro, Parquet, and Iceberg.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, and NGINX.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology-related discipline such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication, diplomacy, stakeholder engagement, leadership, continuous learning, and business orientation.
