Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
- Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for cost efficiency and security.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Puppet and/or Ansible.
- Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot critical production incidents.
- Apply Linux administration skills to manage and secure operating systems.
- Manage and optimize distributed messaging systems, specifically Kafka.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in SRE/DevOps.
- Proven hands-on experience with core AWS services.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Expert-level knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet and/or Ansible.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and/or Shell scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of distributed messaging queues, specifically Kafka.
