Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale automated test frameworks for Java microservices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Validate Kafka event pipelines and ensure data integrity across multiple databases.
- Design and execute test scenarios using realistic dealer and customer data.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to embed quality in design and implementation.
- Define and track quality gates in CI/CD pipelines for release quality.
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures.
- Mentor junior QA/SDET engineers and establish best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong test automation expertise with Java-based frameworks and knowledge of Python frameworks.
- Experience testing distributed microservices and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Testcontainers for integration testing.
- Strong understanding of Kafka testing principles.
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL testing patterns.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch testing strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and containerized environments.
