Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions for data movement and replication.
- Use debugging tools, logs, telemetry, and monitoring systems to investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve reliability and performance.
- Design and implement product features and services in collaboration with senior engineers and architects.
- Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests and improve test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure software meets quality, security, reliability, and maintainability standards.
- Collaborate across teams on dependencies, integrations, system interactions, and platform architecture.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and improve customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of professional experience with enterprise-level distributed systems.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and meet applicable Microsoft, customer, and government security-screening requirements.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range is CAD $85,800–$169,300 per year across Canada.
