Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation tests.
- Create, enhance, and execute automated functional, regression, performance, and load tests.
- Monitor and maintain automated testing systems and troubleshoot test issues.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define testing strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in application functionality.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code and peer reviews, and mentor Test Automation Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
- ISTQB or similar certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a development or SQA role.
- At least 3 years of experience with web service testing and web service testing tools.
- Experience with Selenium-like automation frameworks and automated testing of web applications.
- Experience with automated and manual QA processes, black-box and white-box testing, load and performance testing, test case design, scripting, and execution.
- Experience functionally testing multi-tier web applications and using QA tools, bug-tracking systems, and test design and execution techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Java and JavaScript, plus comprehensive knowledge of SQL, XML, and JSON.
