Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for critical authorization and access management platforms.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major incident response, problem management, and permanent corrective actions.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable engineering solutions.
- Develop automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities across authorization services.
- Support capacity planning, risk assessments, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability requirements.
- Review engineering designs, code quality, implementation approaches, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support and development teams.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, business, regional, global, and vendor stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, recurring-incident reduction, platform modernization, technical-debt reduction, and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Identity and Access Management, authorization, or access-control platforms.
- Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications and working in global enterprise environments, preferably financial services.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, application support, and engineering capabilities.
- Experience with automation, scripting, monitoring, logging, observability, release and deployment management, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Knowledge of system integration, authentication and authorization concepts, production support processes, ITIL, SDLC, and defect code fixation.
- Knowledge of Oracle, Redis, Java, Angular, Python, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Git, Splunk, New Relic, Geneos, Control-M, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of system design, architecture, platform reliability engineering, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and high-pressure incident-response skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflows while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
