Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise security strategy and define the architectural vision and technical North Star.
- Design and maintain secure reference architectures across IAM, AI, cloud infrastructure, and secret management.
- Create engineering guardrails and paved paths that support rapid deployment without bypassing security controls.
- Lead continuous threat modeling for critical product features and infrastructure components.
- Promote security-by-design practices and embed security requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
- Mentor senior security personnel and influence engineering teams without relying on direct managerial authority.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and approve third-party technologies and vendor integrations for security.
- Translate technical vulnerabilities and architectural risks into clear business impacts for executives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 4+ years operating at Lead or Enterprise Architect level.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and securing multi-tenant public cloud environments.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, service meshes, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Expertise in zero trust security, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and advanced cryptography.
- Experience securing AI/ML pipelines, LLM integrations, and data lake architectures.
- Experience securing high-growth, high-transaction SaaS or cloud-native product ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of detection and response processes.
- Ability to drive engineering alignment, change developer behaviors, and communicate complex security risks to C-suite executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is listed as a bonus qualification.
- CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or professional-level cloud architecture/security certifications from AWS, Google, or Microsoft are preferred.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and AKS implementations is preferred.
