Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large and diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
  • Identify data patterns and hidden problems and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation practices while supporting application resiliency and operational stability.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least five years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing and maintaining software with Java, Python, and SQL in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating and refining generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
  • Preferred knowledge of Databricks and machine learning frameworks including Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and Pandas.
