Lead Software Engineer - ML and Agentic Treasury
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large and diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation practices while supporting application resiliency and operational stability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least five years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability.
- Experience developing and maintaining software with Java, Python, and SQL in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
- Preferred knowledge of Databricks and machine learning frameworks including Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and Pandas.
