Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex automation and digital applications from concept through production.
- Develop full-stack solutions spanning user interfaces, workflows, business logic, APIs, integrations, data, and cloud services.
- Build production-grade applications and services using Python and modern front-end technologies.
- Design scalable solutions using AWS, enterprise APIs, SQL/data platforms, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Develop workflow solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate when low-code technologies are appropriate.
- Translate complex business needs into technical solutions across custom development, cloud, low-code, automation, data, and emerging technologies.
- Establish reusable components, engineering standards, and development patterns, and mentor developers through technical design and code reviews.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, resiliency, and governance.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to modernize legacy solutions and apply AI, generative AI, and intelligent agents where they provide measurable business value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant software engineering, application development, automation, or related technical experience.
- Advanced Python skills and experience developing production-grade applications and services.
- Experience developing across user interfaces, application logic, APIs and integrations, and data layers.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable front-end frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of APIs and integrations, SQL/data platforms, cloud development, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, secure development, monitoring or observability, and production support.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, solution design, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.
- English proficiency is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, Palantir, Celonis, Moveworks, AI or machine learning applications, legacy modernization, regulated environments, global organizations, or shared services.
