Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture discussions, evaluate design options, and create design documentation for complex products.
- Build and modernize User Identity Graph pipelines by ingesting data across Microsoft sources and improving robustness and scalability.
- Coordinate dependencies and integrations across teams while aligning delivery schedules and resolving conflicts.
- Lead deployment automation, safe rollout and rollback practices, telemetry integration, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
- Serve as a designated responsible individual for live-site operations, incident management, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Drive online and offline experiments, feature-flagged improvements, graph-quality measurement, and metrics analysis.
- Apply security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices across code, production environments, and the software lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers on coding, testing strategies, code quality, security, and maintainable engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the advertising domain is preferred.

- Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated U.S. Microsoft office, or within a 25-mile commute of a designated non-U.S. location, are expected to work from the office at least four days per week starting January 26, 2026, subject to local law and jurisdiction.
