Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, test, and integrate software systems and components.
- Develop algorithms and database or data repository interfaces and queries.
- Resolve software defects and problem reports and improve software performance.
- Create and review software and system documentation.
- Analyze system performance, data usage, workflows, and problem areas.
- Provide software design input, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS considerations.
- Serve as an appropriately scoped team lead within the software development process.
Requirements
- United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
- Seven years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience may substitute.
- Experience with comparable software processes and development environments is required.
