Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features for AI-powered clinical systems.
- Contribute to agentic LLM workflows, including retrieval pipelines, structured tool use, and chained LLM calls.
- Fix user-facing bugs and improve backend and frontend systems.
- Use evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, robustness, and clinical reliability.
- Prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and open-source orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure teams to ship customer-facing features.
- Work with an engineering mentor and teammates within an engineering pod.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a full-time software engineering role in 2027.
- Experience using AI tooling to write, debug, and learn, with judgment about when to verify its output.
- Passion for and understanding of Abridge’s healthcare mission.
- Curious, adaptable, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
