Associate Vice President - Product Engineering - Security

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and lead the build-out of security infrastructure and supporting tools.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for security infrastructure, architecture, and operations.
- Own security-related architecture and design in accordance with enterprise cybersecurity standards.
- Review implementations, upgrades, configuration changes, and break/fix activities for quality and accuracy.
- Support hardening initiatives and monitor baseline configuration compliance across relevant systems and tools.
- Recommend evidence-based changes to security policies, standards, architecture, and best practices.
- Partner with application development teams to implement DevSecOps and create automated testing tools and processes.
- Create and maintain security architecture, configuration, maintenance, service desk, guideline, and procedure documentation.
- Lead security infrastructure projects and manage ongoing organizational change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a directly related field, or related work experience combined with cybersecurity certifications.
- 11 to 14 years of cybersecurity experience.
- At least one professional-level technical security certification, such as CCNP Security, a GIAC certification, or another industry-recognized security certification.
- Experience with SOC II, ISO, and VAPT is required.
- At least 3 years serving as an SME, architect, or principal engineer on large-scale security infrastructure projects.
- Experience designing and implementing tools such as BigFix, InTune, Imperva, Snort, Nessus, and Nexpose.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide authentication and identity solutions.
- Experience with Azure AD or Active Directory SSO, MFA, application registration, identity federation, and automation.
- Automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause diagnosis, writing, communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining accurate, detailed guidelines and procedures.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and Azure DevOps.
