Base Salary
$186k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop core app surfaces in Swift and Kotlin by translating React Native flows into performant native implementations.
- Participate in AI-assisted code generation, validating architecture, handling edge cases, and ensuring production-quality output.
- Define mobile architecture patterns, improve build speeds, and establish development workflows for Frontend engineers.
- Review native pull requests, support product-team onboarding, and improve interactions between native and React Native codebases.
- Optimize performance across device tiers, including frame stability, cold starts, loading indicators, scroll performance, and stall counts.
- Support dual-app parity during the migration and reduce meaningful technical debt while synchronizing features and bug fixes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of iOS or Android mobile software engineering experience.
- Experience building and shipping performant mobile applications with frame stability, cold-start optimization, and responsive UI across diverse devices.
- Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, working knowledge of the other language, and willingness to develop cross-platform fluency.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release processes.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight and deliver measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
