Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day technical operation, support, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement of assigned formulation applications.
- Configure, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and deploy controlled changes to applications and integrations.
- Investigate incidents and interface issues, document root causes and corrective actions, and coordinate resolution with users, vendors, and technical support teams.
- Document requirements, interfaces, data mappings, dependencies, and current- and target-state designs for application integrations.
- Support API-based, message-based, and file-based integrations among formulation, nutritional-labeling, ERP, manufacturing, and cloud data platforms.
- Contribute to global ERP implementations, formulation-system modernization, AWS migration, integration mapping, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate system, integration, and user-acceptance testing; track defects through resolution and maintain technical documentation.
- Use code or scripting to troubleshoot, automate, and improve application processes and repeatable testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of professional work experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, maintaining, or developing business applications.
- Working knowledge of secure coding or configuration, debugging, testing, change review, version control or equivalent traceability, and controlled releases.
- Ability to use at least one programming or scripting language for application changes or automation.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, interface troubleshooting, data mapping, XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Strong issue-management, documentation, collaboration, and communication skills for working with business users, technical teams, and vendors.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly in the role, plus English proficiency.
- Preferred: experience with New Century, Brill, BESTMIX, or nutritional-labeling applications.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS-hosted application operations, monitoring, logs, deployment support, security, and resiliency practices.
- Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence, manufacturing integrations, SQL, or cloud data lake and analytics platforms.
