Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery conversations and workshops and translate business ambitions into data and AI use cases and solution directions.
- Create solution outlines, high-level designs, technology-stack proposals, assumptions, dependencies, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop scope, roles, phasing, effort, planning, costs, and technical risk assessments and test whether commercial assumptions are realistic.
- Collaborate with bid managers, partners, and account teams on RFPs, RFIs, public tenders, and proposals.
- Explain technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Transfer architectural decisions, risks, and assumptions to the AI Architect and Engineering Lead and remain involved during the initial delivery phase.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with data, cloud, software, or AI solutions in a consulting, enterprise, or technology environment.
- Experience with pre-sales and solution shaping, such as proposal development, bid support, technical customer advisory, or RFP and RFI processes.
- Ability to translate architecture into deliverable scope, assumptions, phasing, effort, costs, and risks.
- Strong technical depth combined with commercial understanding and awareness of delivery realities.
- Experience designing and explaining modern data and AI architectures at a high level and strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform, typically Azure.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, engineers, bid teams, and senior stakeholders and communicate complex choices clearly under time pressure.
- HBO or academic level in a technical, exact-science, or business-related field, or an equivalent level built through experience.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch writing and presentation skills are also useful for many clients.
- Experience with European tenders, public procurement, GenAI cost modeling, governance and compliance, reusable proposal assets, or reference architectures is distinctive but not required.
