Base Salary
$108k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of scoped software features and models through collaborative engineering teams.
- Write clean, efficient, reliable code in Java, JavaScript, and Python while supporting the full software development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools into software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, defect management, automated testing, and continuous integration and deployment activities.
- Participate in solution design and evaluate trade-offs for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor application performance, support observability, and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor peers and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and three years of software engineering or related experience, or five years of such experience.
- Extensive software development experience with proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Strong technical knowledge of platform design, component services, and iterative development.
- Experience with code review, debugging, and continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration and generative artificial intelligence tools.
- Technical leadership, solution design, peer mentoring, quality, performance monitoring, and customer-focused delivery skills.
- Preferred: relevant master's degree and one year of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
