Responsibilities
- Develop custom software solutions and enhance components across systems and applications.
- Build agentic AI applications with agents, tools, prompts, planners, memory, and evaluation loops.
- Implement RAG services covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, vector databases, observability, and guardrails.
- Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Write clean, testable code and CI/CD pipelines, including unit and integration tests and offline/online evaluations.
- Prototype rapidly, demonstrate results, and communicate trade-offs and outcomes with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and speed.
- Ability to learn quickly, prototype rapidly, translate business problems into practical AI solutions, and communicate clearly.
- Proficiency in at least two relevant programming languages, with Java, Python, or TypeScript/Node.js identified as core options; C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, and Bash are additional options.
