Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, test, troubleshoot, and review code throughout the software development process.
- Collaborate on small-to-medium features from technical design through completion with guidance.
- Build and deliver capabilities for Cisco’s supply chain Orchestrator system, including AI-enabled and agentic solutions.
- Execute tests for scale, reliability, and velocity within owned code.
- Apply secure coding principles and review code for compliance.
- Monitor and triage incidents, participate in postmortems, and potentially participate in on-call duties.
- Communicate status, blockers, estimates, and delays while collaborating with teammates and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience or a master’s degree plus zero years of related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including decomposing complex problems into manageable components.
- Experience with Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, React JS, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Oracle 19c or later, Snowflake, and Splunk.
- Preferred experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, LLM-driven software development, prompt engineering, token and tokenomics concepts, LLMs, cosine similarity, embeddings, weights, Model Context Protocol, agentic solutions, Oracle E-Business, NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and learning skills.
