Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance GPP 5G Layer 2 software modules, preferably including scheduler capabilities.
- Collaborate with global teams across the full product development lifecycle.
- Develop solutions for 5G NR capabilities with consideration for future 6G readiness.
- Debug, test, and integrate features to meet industry standards and operator requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in telecom software development specializing in 4G/5G Layer 2, preferably on GPP COTS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ and embedded systems programming.
- Solid understanding of 3GPP 5G NR standards and protocols.
- Experience with multicore, multithreaded programming and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud-native and containerized network functions, O-RAN, and virtualization technologies is desirable.
