Base Salary
$152k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build benchmarking and reproducibility infrastructure for ML system evaluation.
- Define metrics, baselines, protocols, and statistically sound comparisons.
- Map evaluation results to the code and runs that produced them.
- Automate measurement workflows and maintain reviewable, traceable evidence.
- Partner with security researchers and platform engineers to design experiments that can be trusted and rerun.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or evaluation.
- Experience designing benchmarks, metrics, and statistically sound comparisons for ML systems.
- Careful and skeptical approach to metrics, baselines, and claims.
- Solid Python engineering skills for shared infrastructure, experiment tracking, and data pipelines.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary of 152,000 USD to 241,500 USD, plus equity and benefits.
