Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, performant, and resilient cloud-native software solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, and review high-quality production code using Golang and Terraform.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and educational workshops.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve operational stability.
- Lead customer and partner evaluation sessions focused on architecture and technical solutions.
- Lead software development projects and communities of practice across Software Engineering.
- Drive adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering tools and establish standards for validating their outputs.
- Coach engineers on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Golang and Terraform.
- Experience with test automation, continuous delivery, agile software delivery practices, CI/CD, and Scrum.
- Experience leading software development projects and building cloud-native software solutions.
- Experience migrating complex applications to the public cloud in IaC developer, SRE, or acceleration roles.
- Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and experience designing and maintaining API/event-driven and reactive/event-driven architectures.
