Base Salary
$92k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Author software test plans, procedures, subsystem acceptance test procedures, and test reports.
- Execute developmental, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing.
- Develop automated test approaches for new software capabilities.
- Compile test data, identify gaps, and recommend procedural changes.
- Perform hands-on software and hardware integration, troubleshooting, and testing in laboratory environments.
- Work with software development teams to document and resolve software issues.
- Provide on-site support for fielded products.
- Lead technical interfaces with suppliers and customers.
- Support planning meetings, testing events, and customer support, with travel of up to two weeks at a time as needed.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance adjudicated within the last five years or under continuous evaluation.
- Integration and Test Engineer: bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline plus 2+ years of experience, or a master's degree in a STEM discipline plus 0 years of experience.
- Principal Integration and Test Engineer: bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline plus 5+ years of experience, or a master's degree in a STEM discipline plus 3 years of experience.
- Experience defining test objectives based on test requirements.
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools such as TestComplete and scripting languages.
- Strong background in software/hardware integration, troubleshooting, testing principles, COTS software incorporation, and field support.
- Proven experience developing test automation and data-collection methods within CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced hands-on system troubleshooting and root-cause analysis experience.
- Preferred experience with requirements development, process improvements, military mission-planning systems such as JMPS, AFMSS, or PFPS, and Agile/Scrum teams.
- Active DoD Top Secret or Special Access Programs clearance is preferred.
