Base Salary
$79k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, install, and support mission-planning software and related systems.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and establish development, test, and build environments.
- Create and update Windows installers and support software builds, installations, and deployment verification.
- Develop software test plans, procedures, reports, traceability matrices, automated test strategies, and testing requirements.
- Perform smoke and acceptance testing, coordinate formal test events, and support software/hardware integration.
- Collaborate across Scrum teams, interface technically with customers, resolve technical issues, and support contract deliverable documentation.
- Serve as a Scrum Master when required.
Requirements
- Software Engineer level: bachelor's degree in STEM with at least two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with zero years of experience; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Principal Software Engineer level: bachelor's degree in STEM with at least five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least three years; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Current DoD Secret clearance adjudicated within the last five years, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain Top Secret and SAP clearances.
- Experience with Bamboo or Jenkins, CI/CD practices, Scrum Master responsibilities, Windows technologies, test procedure development, formal test events, automated testing, and revision-control systems.
- Proficiency in C# and/or Java, object-oriented software design, and at least one of YAML, Python, PowerShell, Batch, or TypeScript.
- Preferred qualifications include .NET, WPF, databases and SQL, Atlassian tools, Azure or AWS, Docker or Kubernetes, infrastructure and DevOps tools, mission-planning experience, DOORS, Scrum certifications, and additional security clearances or certifications.
