Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership, assign work, and coordinate platform engineering activity across sprints and delivery increments.
- Direct sprint planning, refinement, delivery, reviews, and retrospectives while removing blockers and escalating constraints.
- Review and approve completed work against acceptance criteria, engineering standards, security controls, and documentation requirements.
- Design, build, automate, and support secure Azure cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, deployment pipelines, and scalable solutions.
- Implement approved high-level architecture and produce, coordinate, and approve low-level designs covering networking, access controls, deployment, monitoring, support, and operations.
- Manage RAID items, technical decisions, delivery forecasts, risks, dependencies, governance reporting, and technical documentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments and develop scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python.
Requirements
- Strong Microsoft Azure platform experience with Databricks, Azure Functions, IAM/RBAC, Storage Accounts, Networking, Virtual Machines, Key Vault, Monitoring, and Alerting.
- Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience implementing Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD, plus Azure DevOps Repos/Git and branching strategies.
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience with Trivy or similar security and vulnerability-scanning tools.
- Experience with Azure networking concepts and services including VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
- Experience working in highly regulated or secure environments, including environments without Internet access.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience and fluent written and spoken English.
- Eligibility for SC clearance is essential.
