Responsibilities

Write code and deliver hands-on software throughout the customer build.
Run AI-assisted, spec-driven development workflows, including context engineering and agent and skill authoring.
Work directly with customer development leads and manage the day-to-day technical relationship.
Maintain delivery momentum and keep the eight-week project schedule on track.
Answer difficult customer questions and serve as Sonata’s primary technical presence during the engagement.

12+ years of software engineering experience with recent hands-on delivery; the posting also identifies the role as requiring 15+ years of experience.
Practical experience with Claude Code, which the client has standardized on.
Strong .NET and Azure experience, including App Services, Static Web Apps, containers, and AKS.
Working knowledge of AI-assisted software development, spec-driven development, context engineering, and agent and skill authoring.
Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
Ability to work directly with customers, handle challenging questions, and manage an intensive eight-week delivery timeline.
Terraform and Kubernetes experience in a regulated or high-throughput logistics environment is preferred.
