Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain data-intensive desktop applications and reusable libraries using C# and modern .NET.
- Develop systems supporting application performance, integrity, reliability, uptime, logging, and traceability for mission-critical production systems.
- Profile and improve rendering, memory usage, concurrency, reactive data pipelines, and application startup performance.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers on an algorithmic trading team.
- Own software through design, implementation, automated testing, instrumentation, deployment, staged rollout, and production support.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including substantial experience building C#/.NET desktop applications.
- Thorough understanding of C# UI development and tooling.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment that embraces new technologies and techniques.
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and write high- and mid-level architecture documentation.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and standards.
