Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software across backend and front-end systems.
- Lead technical assessment, requirements scoping, architectural discussions, and decomposition of epics into estimable stories.
- Design, develop, implement, refactor, test, debug, document, and maintain custom software solutions and legacy code.
- Maintain coding and architectural standards through peer reviews and lifecycle governance.
- Partner with product owners, designers, application teams, customers, business stakeholders, and PMO functions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pairing, code review, and onboarding.
- Define responsible use standards for AI-generated code and coding agents across the development lifecycle.
- Diagnose production issues, implement monitoring and alerting, and lead blameless postmortems.
- Build features with authentication, authorization, and customer personal-data security in mind.
- Contribute across multiple languages and frameworks as project needs change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including production work with a front-end framework and .NET.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, React or a similar framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Experience designing and building versioned REST APIs with error handling and authentication.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Working knowledge of web application security, including OWASP Top 10, OAuth2/OIDC, and personal-data handling.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working daily with Git and Bitbucket, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with data modeling and query tuning in SQL Server.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to nontechnical business owners, lead technical discussions, and drive decisions.
- Experience mentoring developers through code review, pairing, or onboarding.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL.
- Preferred experience building accessible, cross-browser applications meeting WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Preferred experience with frontend architecture, state management, component design, rendering performance, Azure Application Insights or similar monitoring tools, GraphQL, and Scrum teams.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and adaptability skills.
