Responsibilities
- Engineer stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews, planning, and team ceremonies.
- Lead technical development at the product, team, or domain level and take ownership of technical delivery and application health.
- Own technical custodianship, governance activities, and incident root-cause analysis for technical assets.
- Identify opportunities for reuse and automate repetitive manual tasks to reduce effort and technical debt.
- Apply test automation, performance checks, regression testing, debugging tools, DevOps principles, and quality assurance approaches.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge as a subject matter expert, and contribute to technical communities.
- Communicate with stakeholders, contribute to continuous improvement, and provide hardware, software, and network support as needed.
- Apply basic AI concepts using established tools and procedures to address familiar scenarios.
Requirements
- Demonstrated senior-level software engineering capability and deep understanding of system design.
- Ability to work independently, apply traditional and agile best practices, prioritize work, and escalate impediments.
- Knowledge of endorsed technologies, common build patterns, build and release frameworks, automation, performance testing, regression testing, and debugging.
- Ability to lead technical development, own application health and governance, and perform incident root-cause analysis.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, mentoring, critical-thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and technical and agile practices.
