Responsibilities
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with federal engineering teams and system integrators.
- Own the technical win in federal pre-sales engagements through secure POCs, RFI/RFP technical responses, and technical evaluations.
- Design architectures that satisfy federal security and compliance requirements, including FedRAMP, DoD IL2–IL6, and NIST.
- Help agencies deploy and operate agent applications for mission support, intelligence analysis, research automation, and operational workflows.
- Advise customers after award on architecture, scalability, observability, evaluation, and roadmap decisions.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and enablement sessions for government developers and operators.
- Partner with security teams on ATO processes and accreditation pathways.
- Capture federal field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, secure deployment guides, example code, and occasional upstream code improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant technical role such as software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, or product engineering.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense, civilian agencies, the Intelligence Community, or federal system integrators.
- Strong Python and JavaScript fundamentals with deep systems thinking.
- Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered systems involving multi-step workflows, orchestration, guardrails, and failure handling.
- Familiarity with secure cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
- Experience operating in regulated environments with security, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Experience supporting technical evaluations, architecture reviews, and competitive down-select processes.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to government stakeholders and build trust with engineering and program leadership.
- Active or prior U.S. security clearance, classified or air-gapped AI deployments, FedRAMP or DoD Impact Level experience, LLM evaluation or observability, Kubernetes, secure networking, federal system integrators, or production LangChain/LangGraph experience are preferred.
