Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code for use across AWS and Azure environments.
- Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters, including EKS and AKS.
- Build and maintain pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Own the reliability, security, and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues and address root causes across distributed systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support system observability.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to improve platform documentation, standards, and adoption.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS and Azure.
- Production experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across distributed systems.
- Experience building and maintaining pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Ability to write automation scripts using Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPCs/VNets, load balancers, DNS, and security groups/NSGs.
- Experience with secrets management and identity/access control, including IAM, OIDC, and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
