Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud platforms for national security missions.
- Administer and support Linux and Windows infrastructure in secure enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot and optimise IPv4 networking, routing, subnetting, and connectivity across cloud and hybrid systems.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
- Build, deploy, and support containerised applications using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and customers to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Develop technical skills and maintain relevant industry certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience.
- AWS Practitioner- or Associate-level certification and experience designing, deploying, and administering cloud solutions.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of IPv4 networking, including routing, subnetting, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deploying and managing workloads in Amazon EKS.
- Sole UK nationality and ability to gain and maintain the required UK Government security clearance.
