Responsibilities
- Design and specify new GIS capabilities based on users’ experiences, requirements, and challenges with ArcGIS.
- Write help topics and assistance guides and answer questions on product forums and websites.
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for an agile product development team.
- Create testing procedures and scenarios with Python scripts and write sample code demonstrating product capabilities.
- Develop ideas and best practices for modifying and extending the product.
- Coordinate with team members and respond to high-priority technical support issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience supporting software testing or software development in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS or other GIS and mapping products.
- Experience with C++, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, geography, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- A master’s degree in computer science, GIS, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Software testing experience supporting mobile, desktop, and web applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of TeamCity, Jenkins, or other continuous integration and continuous delivery tools is preferred.
